Vibrant surfboards lean against a stone building surrounded by rustic nautical decor while a vintage bicycle with a wooden box attached adds a touch of nostalgia. This is one of the many picturesque settings waiting to be discovered in the fishing village of Yandunjiao in Rongcheng, China. This village well known throughout the region as a gathering place for majestic flocks of white swans escaping the harsh winters of their Siberian homeland.
Rongcheng is a prefecture level city at the far East end of Shandong Province. Bordered by the Yellow Sea on three of four sides, Rongcheng is a popular vacation destination in Eastern China.
