Three kayakers glide across a the rippled surface of the Currituck Sound as the sun sets on the horizon, casting dramatic rays of light across the evening sky. Teeming with wildlife and speckled with numerous marshy islands the calm, shallow water of the Currituck Sound is a kayaker's dream. This particular group is enjoying a spectacular sunset tour offered by Coastal Explorations, which operates out of Corolla, North Carolina.
