Haze obscures the horizon as the on the Yellow Sea as the tide recedes gracefully over rocky coastal terrain of Rongcheng China's southern coast. In the distance, numerous fishing boats sit at anchor, patiently awaiting the imminent return of the region's fishermen as the time for the evening catch approaches.
Rongcheng is a prefecture level city at the far East end of Shandong Province, and is bordered by the Yellow Sea on three of four sides. Well known in the region as the winter home for migrating swans, Rongcheng is a popular vacation destination in Eastern China.
